Abstract
This investigation seeks to determine the impact on the communication strategy used in the actions of "Accecine, Accessible Film Festival" on the the autonomy of people with visual disabilities who attended the "Accecine, Accessible Film Festival" during January of 2021. In Peru, inequality for people with disabilities is evident in different social settings. For this reason, from the cultural sphere, specifically, in consumption, people with visual disabilities do not have a variety of options for personal satisfaction. Faced with this situation, the groups in charge of the Accecine Film Festival use accessible cinema as a communication strategy to promote the participation of people with visual disabilities in a socialization space corresponding to the enjoyment of entertainment and the right to leisure. In the same way, motivating the autonomy of people with visual disabilities means enabling a new opportunity for human development since, to go through the process of exercising autonomy, participation, interaction and accessible environments are required in dimensions that favor their development. Therefore, the communication strategy of "Accecine, Accessible Film Festival" in its virtual edition is executed from the principles promulgated by the Social Model of Disability, which enables a socialization space that meets the special needs of people with disabilities visual and allows them to interact in society.
