Abstract
En la población de los Centennials y Millennials, la motivación laboral emerge como un
factor crucial para consolidar la rentabilidad empresarial, que es una métrica relevante para el
éxito sostenido de las organizaciones en un entorno cada vez más competitivo y dinámico.
Estas generaciones, caracterizadas por su búsqueda de propósito y desarrollo personal en el
trabajo, demandan un entorno laboral que les brinde significado y oportunidades de
crecimiento. La investigación tuvo el objetivo de revisar la literatura y analizar cómo la
motivación laboral puede influir en la rentabilidad empresarial en la población Millennials y
Centennials. La metodología se basa en una revisión literaria, donde se empleó un enfoque
metodológico sistemático para analizar y sintetizar la literatura relevante, acerca de estas
variables: motivación laboral y rentabilidad empresarial. Esto permitió una revisión
exhaustiva de estudios académicos, informes de investigación, y documentos de análisis
sectoriales relacionados con la motivación laboral y el rendimiento.
Los resultados indican que, en la intersección de la motivación laboral y la rentabilidad
empresarial en la población de los Centennials y Millennials, se tiene una nueva narrativa en
el mundo corporativo. De igual manera, la motivación ya no es simplemente un impulso; sino
el motor que impulsa la productividad y el éxito organizacional; estas generaciones
demandan más que un salario; anhelan un propósito, un significado arraigado en su labor
diaria, empresas visionarias que comprenden esta dinámica y cultiven un ambiente que nutre
la motivación intrínseca. Se concluye que, la motivación laboral influye significativamente en
la rentabilidad empresarial en la población Millennials y Centennials.
In the age of Centennials and Millennials, work motivation emerges as a crucial factor in driving business profitability. These generations, characterized by their search for purpose and personal development at work, demand a work environment that provides them with meaning and opportunities for growth. The research aimed to analyze how work motivation can influence corporate profitability in the Millennials and Centennials era. The methodology is based on a literature review, a systematic methodological approach was employed to analyze and synthesize relevant literature, including a comprehensive review of academic studies, research reports, and industry analysis papers related to work motivation and performance. The results indicate that, at the intersection of work motivation and corporate profitability in the age of Centennials and Millennials, a new narrative is being forged in the corporate world, here, motivation is no longer simply an impulse, but the engine that drives productivity and organizational success; these generations demand more than a salary; they crave purpose, a meaning embedded in their daily work, visionary companies that understand this dynamic and cultivate an environment that nurtures the intrinsic motivation of their employees find an invaluable return on investment. It is concluded that, work motivation significantly influences business profitability in the Millennials and Centennials era.
