investigaciones futuras.
Considering the challenges faced by students who leave their place of residence, family and friends to pursue their university studies, the purpose of the present research is to analyze the relationships between perceived stress, social support and psychological well-being in a group of students who migrate to Lima for university studies. The sample composed of 70 university students who had completed at least one cycle at a private university in Lima, of both sexes and who are between 18 and 25 years (M = 22.10 years; DE = 1.35). Three questionnaires were applied: the Spanish version of the Perceived Stress Scale (EEP) (Remor, 2006); The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Support (MSPSS) in its version translated and validated by Arechabala and Miranda (2002) and the Psychological Well-Being Scale (BIEPS-A) developed and validated by Casullo (2002). The results show differences according to sex and migration data in the study variables. An inverse relationship was found between perceived stress and social support, as well as between perceived stress and psychological well-being, and a positive relationship between social support and psychological well-being. Two regression models were performed, where global perceived stress and, specifically, the eustress dimension were found to be predictive variables of psychological well-being. Finally, the findings and limitations of the study are discussed, and suggestions for future research are provided.
