Abstract
The case of study developed in Soldexa company allows us to analyze the impact and implications that occur in the Organizational Culture before a process of acquisition of a local company by a transnational corporation and how the implementation of a new business model oriented to the result and the continuous improvement affect the organizational structure and the working environment. This new business model that prioritizes the operating result of the company instead of the people development, produces a clash of expectations between the new corporation and workers who have another culture more customer oriented and professional development. This process of adaptation to a new Organizational Culture is a very current situation, which is not only being experienced by Soldexa, but also by other companies in Peru that are absorbed by financially strong corporations who have a short-term need to recover their investment.
