Abstract
PHVA (Planificar, Hacer, Verificar, Actuar).
operativa.
The primary objective of this thesis is to enhance the processes of an energy efficiency consulting firm through the application of the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) methodology. The aim is to identify critical areas that require intervention, propose practical solutions, and evaluate the economic feasibility of these improvements. First, the theory behind the PDCA methodology and the tools used to diagnose and address problems in the energy efficiency consulting firm are described. Then, a detailed description of the company and its operations is provided, identifying opportunities for improvement. Subsequently, the implementation of PDCA tools, such as line balancing and the 5S methodology, is detailed to optimize processes. Finally, an economic analysis is presented, including the calculation of Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR), demonstrating the economic benefits of the proposed improvements. The implementation of improvements based on the PDCA methodology in the energy efficiency consulting firm requires an initial investment of S/ 71,000.00 and promises a significant return on investment, with an NPV of S/ 93,169.60 and an IRR of 57% in the base scenario. These improvements, focused on marketing and resource optimization, will attract new clients, generating additional revenues of S/ 400,000.00 over five years. Hiring a marketing firm and optimization experts is crucial to maximize operational efficiency.
