Resumen
La industria del mueble de madera representa una de las industrias de mayor valor
agregado dentro de los productos que actualmente comercializa el sector maderero peruano,
así mismo su demanda a nivel mundial con tendencias a bajo costo y buen diseño está en
aumento a pesar y en relación a las fluctuaciones económicas mundiales; muy por el contrario
la producción de muebles peruanos ha ido restando participación tanto en la oferta interna
como externa, paradójicamente estando el Perú en una situación privilegiada por los recursos
forestales con los que se cuenta por lo que en la presente tesis de Planeamiento Estratégico de
la Industria del mueble de madera en el Perú tiene como objetivo dar un panorama general de
las grandes oportunidades y retos para ingresar en el ambiente competitivo en el que se
encuentra este sector a nivel mundial.
Es por ello, que se desarrolló un análisis resultado de un denodado estudio e
interpretación de factores externos e internos de la industria del mueble de madera. De este
modo, como consecuencia de la elaboración y análisis de diferentes matrices, posibilitó
establecer estrategias principales directrices para alcanzar los objetivos tanto a largo plazo y
por consiguiente sus respectivos objetivos a corto plazo, teniendo como finalidad principal
situarse en el escenario de la visión planteada. Es así que se llega a la conclusión de plantear
estrategias centrándose en el diseño, bajo costo y calidad de elaboración de muebles de
madera como distintivo para desarrollar una industria de valor mayor agregado pero que a su
vez sea responsable con el medio ambiente generando mayores plantaciones de árboles
siendo así autosustentable a largo plazo permitiendo dinamizar las unidades de negocio de la
cadena de valor del sector maderero peruano generando mayor competitividad en todas sus
líneas
The wooden furniture industry represents one of the industries of higher value-added products which currently sells the Peruvian timber sector, likewise its demand worldwide with low cost and good design trends is on the rise in spite of and in relation to global economic fluctuations; on the contrary the Peruvian furniture production has been subtracting participation both in internal and external supply, paradoxically being the Peru in a privileged location by the forest resources which is counted by what in this thesis of strategic planning of the wood in the Peru furniture industry aims to give an overview of the major opportunities and challenges for entering the competitive in that environment is It is this sector around the world. Thus, as a result of the preparation and analysis of different matrices, it enabled establishing guidelines main strategies to achieve goals both long-term and therefore their respective goals in the short term, with the main purpose to be onstage at the proposed vision. It's so you can reach the conclusion of strategies focusing on design, low cost and quality of production of wooden furniture as distinctive to develop a greater value-added industry but at the same time be responsible for environment generating major plantations of trees making it self-sustaining in the long term allowing boost Peruvian timber industry value chain business units generating greater competitiveness in all its lines
