Relaciones entre la Ideología Política, el Cinismo Político, la Actividad Política en Internet, y la Participación Política Convencional y No Convencional

Abstract
El objetivo del estudio comprendió establecer las relaciones entre las variables Ideología
Política, medida a través de el Autoritarismo de Ala Derecha (RWA) y Orientación hacia la
Dominancia Social (SDO), Participación Política Convencional (PPC) y No Convencional
(PPNC), Cinismo Político (CP), Índice de Conexión a Internet (IC) y Actividad Política en
Internet (API). Se buscó comparar los niveles de Participación Política Convencional y No
Convencional, Cinismo Político, el Índice de Conexión a Internet y la Actividad Política en
Internet entre los individuos según el sexo; para luego realizar un análisis para conocer las
variables que tiene influencia sobre la PPC y PPNC. La muestra estuvo conformada por 218
participantes de una universidad privada de Lima que se conectan a Internet. No se encontraron
relaciones entre la Edad y el IC con las variables de estudio; sin embargo se encontró relaciones
muy significativas y moderadas entre la PPC y PPNC, y la API. No existen diferencias en
ninguna de las variables de estudio según el sexo. El modelo general propuesto muestra que la
SDO, el CP y la API tienen influencia sobre la PPC y PPNC.
The objective of the study that includes establishing the relationships between the variables Political Ideology, measured through the Right Wing Authoritarianism (RWA) and Social Dominance Orientation (SDO), Conventional Political Participation (PPC) and Non Conventional (PPNC), Political Cynicism (CP), Internet Connection Index (IC) and Political Activity on the Internet (API). The aim was to compare the levels of Conventional and Unconventional Political Participation, Political Cynicism, the Internet Connection Index and Political Activity on the Internet among individuals according to sex, to then perform an analysis to know the variables that influence the PPC and PPNC. The sample consisted of 218 participants from a private university in Lima that connects to the Internet. No relationship was found between Age and IC with the study variables; however, there are very important and moderate relations between the PPC and PPNC, and the API. There are no differences in any of the study variables according to sex. The proposed general model shows that the SDO, the CP and the API have an influence on the PPC and PPNC.
