Abstract
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has reached worldwide relevance. In Peru there were no studies that measured the impact until 2006, when Asociación Perú 2021 released some indicators to measure different forms and in various fields of CSR impact. This study will broaden the scope of Marquina’s research (2009) in his doctoral thesis The Influence of Corporate Social Responsibility on Peruvian Consumers' Purchasing Behavior, because that will validate if the relationship originally identified by the author also presents in the biscuit category , as suggested in the final recommendations of the study. With the author's permission, we used parts of his thesis, specifically in relation to the review of literature and method. This research will determine the influence of CSR in Peruvian Consumers' Purchasing Behavior in Lima, for which we develop a methodology experiment under Discrete Choice Models, in order to measure purchase intent and willingness of consumers to pay for social responsibility actions developed by companies. The experiment was conducted using a sample of 132 people for convenience. The research will provide evidence of the positive relationship between CSR and purchase behavior of the sample. The results indicate that the effect of CSR as a whole is higher than corporate skills.
