dc.description	This work of professional sufficiency is aimed to describe the significative professional experience of a writing workshop in English, in order to improve the writing process of formal texts, in an Audited Educational Institution. It belongs to the field of Curriculum and Didactic, of the Education Department and was developed to fight the specific need of improving the writing of formal texts in English, of the students in fourth and fifth grade of secondary, to achieve the level B2 in the international examinations of the Cambridge University when they finish the secondary school, which is an institutional goal. In this work of professional sufficiency we describe the professional experience of the writing workshop in English, develop the conceptual framework that supports it according to the guidelines of the International certification for the use of English and present a critic reflection about the reached goals in the experience and its impact in my own professional profile projected to the future. In its elaboration, qualitative methodology is used and it takes us to conclude that this strategy is useful to develop the students skills to write formal texts in English, and to improve their writing skills in general. It also takes us to recommend its continuity and to strength its application inside the Educative Institution.
dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional tiene como fin describir la experiencia profesional significativa de un taller de escritura (Writing workshop) en inglés, para mejorar la redacción de textos formales, en una Institución Educativa Fiscalizada. Corresponde al área temática de Currículo y Didáctica del departamento de Educación y es realizado para afrontar la necesidad de mejorar la capacidad, de los estudiantes de cuarto y quinto de secundaria, para escribir textos formales en inglés y alcanzar el Nivel B2 en de los exámenes Internacionales de la Universidad de Cambridge al terminar sus estudios secundarios, que es una meta institucional. Este trabajo busca describir la experiencia profesional sobre la implementación de dicho taller, desarrollar el marco conceptual que lo sustente dentro de los lineamientos de la certificación internacional de uso del idioma inglés y presentar la reflexión crítica sobre los logros alcanzados en la experiencia significativa y su impacto en mi perfil profesional con proyección al futuro. En su elaboración se usa la metodología cualitativa y nos permite concluir, que la estrategia de taller es útil para mejorar la capacidad de los estudiantes para redactar textos formales en inglés, así como, para mejorar su redacción en general; también recomendar, continuar y fortalecer su aplicación dentro de la institución educativa.
