Peru faces a growing challenge related to sedentary lifestyles and lack of physical activity, factors that contribute to the increase in non-communicable diseases such as obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular problems. This social problem is especially prevalent in urban areas, where the lack of access to adequate sports facilities and the difficulty to coordinate team sports activities aggravate the situation. To address this issue, Digital League proposes a digital platform that facilitates participation in team sports by integrating key tools. The solution includes a matchmaking system to connect players, schedule synchronization functions, local sporting events organization, and a gamification component that incentivizes participation through economic challenges. These functionalities are designed to improve accessibility and motivation, overcoming current barriers to regular sports participation. During the development process, interviews were conducted with 15 amateur athletes who revealed critical needs that the platform effectively addresses. In terms of financial viability, Digital League presents an NPV of S/2,125,065 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 94.80% Furthermore, the project is aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, which promotes health and wellness, highlighting its social as well as economic relevance.
