Abstract
Este estudio ofrece un análisis integral de la empresa Corporación Cerámica S.A., un
líder en la fabricación de cerámica sanitaria en el Perú. La investigación comienza con un
detallado perfil de la empresa, explorando su historia, evolución, modelo de negocio, y su
posición dentro del sector industrial. Mediante el análisis de las cinco fuerzas de Porter y un
estudio PESTEL, se identifican oportunidades y amenazas en el entorno externo, así como las
fortalezas y debilidades de la empresa en su contexto interno. El diagnóstico empresarial
revela un problema principal relacionado con la ausencia de indicadores funcionales que
impactan directamente en el desempeño y productividad de la compañía. En el desarrollo de
soluciones, el equipo propone una serie de estrategias enfocadas en mejorar la eficiencia
operativa y la competitividad de la empresa en el mercado. Estas estrategias se fundamentan
en un profundo análisis de causas, utilizando herramientas como el diagrama de Ishikawa y
matrices de priorización para identificar las raíces del problema principal y las áreas de
oportunidad. El plan de implementación de estas soluciones se describe en detalle, incluyendo
fases específicas, un cronograma de actividades y la asignación de recursos. Se analizan los
factores clave de éxito y se identifican posibles riesgos para asegurar una transición exitosa
hacia las mejoras propuestas. En cuanto a los resultados cuantitativos esperados de la
implementación, el estudio proyecta mejoras significativas en varios indicadores clave de
desempeño. Se anticipa un incremento en la productividad laboral, junto con una reducción en
la rotación de personal. Además, se espera que la satisfacción del cliente mejore, lo que podría
resultar en un incremento de los ingresos de hasta un 5%. El análisis financiero refleja la
viabilidad y el impacto positivo de las soluciones propuestas, con un VAN de 747,559.74
soles y una TIR del 18.37%, indicando un retorno significativo sobre la inversión. El período de recupero de la inversión se calcula en cerca de 4 años y 2 meses, destacando la eficacia del
proyecto en términos económicos.
This study provides a comprehensive analysis of Corporación Cerámica S.A., a leading manufacturer of sanitary ceramics in Peru. The research begins with an in-depth profile of the company, exploring its history, evolution, business model, and position within the industrial sector. Through an analysis of Porter's Five Forces and a PESTE study, opportunities and threats in the external environment, as well as the company's strengths and weaknesses in its internal context, are identified. The business diagnosis reveals a principal problem related to the absence of functional indicators that directly impact the company's performance and productivity. In developing solutions, the team proposes a series of strategies focused on improving operational efficiency and competitiveness in the market. These strategies are based on a thorough analysis of causes, utilizing tools such as the Ishikawa diagram and prioritization matrices to identify the roots of the main problem and areas of opportunity. The implementation plan for these solutions is described in detail, including specific phases, a schedule of activities, and the allocation of resources. Key success factors are analyzed, and potential risks are identified to ensure a successful transition towards the proposed improvements. Regarding the expected quantitative results of the implementation, the study projects significant improvements in several key performance indicators. An increase in labor productivity of up to 8% in the most optimistic scenario is anticipated, along with a reduction in staff turnover that could represent savings of up to 300,000 soles. Additionally, an improvement in customer satisfaction is expected, which could result in an increase in revenues of up to 5%. The financial analysis reflects the viability and positive impact of the proposed solutions, with a NPV of 5,286,846 soles and an IRR of 63%, indicating a significant return on investment. The investment recovery period is estimated at approximately 1 year and 10 months, highlighting the project's effectiveness in economic terms.
