Abstract
positivo igual a S/ 4,560,875.00 (Cuatro millones quinientos sesenta mil ochocientos
The present research work attends to the relevant social problem which are the “Mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, loneliness, academic stress, etc. of young university students, Arequipa city between 16 to 25 years old”. To solve our relevant social problem we are proposing the creation of a Specialized Psychological Center, as a new business unit of the San Pablo Catholic University. The proposal arises as a response to the growing concern for the mental health of this population, reflected in alarming figures of psychological disorders in the region. The value proposition of the Psychological Center is focused on offering an environment of trust, safety and favorable treatment for young university students. It plans to implement personalized programs of therapy, accompaniment and attention centered on the human person. In addition, it seeks to promote prevention and mental health care through integrative therapies and social integration programs. The detailed competitive analysis reveals the need to differentiate the Psychological Center's proposal from other similar services in the market. Strengths such as quality of service, personalization and focus on the well-being of the human person are identified. The financial viability of the business model is confirmed through cash flow and internal rate of return (IRR) calculations. A positive net present value (NPV) and an IRR that exceeds the discount rate are projected, indicating the viability of the project. Terms of scalability and sustainability, it is planned to gradually expand the service to other universities and increase the supply nationwide. The positive social impact of the Psychological Center in the community is highlighted, contributing to the strengthening and care of the mental health of young people.
