Modelo ProLab: Edukt, solución digital para la orientación vocacional y preparación académica de adolescentes camino a la educación superior

Resumen
En el Perú, una de las barreras que frena el crecimiento del país es el sistema educativo, si
bien se ha logrado que un gran porcentaje de la población acceda a la educación secundaria, este
mismo resultado no se ha reflejado en el índice de adolescentes que acceden a una educación
superior.
Los factores que agudizan este problema yacen principalmente en la limitación de
recursos, falta de orientación vocacional y desconocimiento sobre la oferta universitaria que les
permita a los jóvenes seguir avanzando. Esta situación genera una creciente brecha laboral entre
los roles y habilidades demandadas por las empresas y la formación de talento en las
universidades para cubrir estas posiciones. En ese mismo sentido, los impactos más resaltantes
son notorios en el incremento del índice de subempleo y disminución de la calidad de vida de la
población.
Ante este contexto, planteamos como solución una plataforma digital innovadora que
permita a los adolescentes tomar decisiones informadas sobre su futuro. Con Edukt, los jóvenes
podrán descubrir su verdadera vocación mediante test vocacionales en línea, acceder a
información clave sobre carreras profesionales universitarias y técnicas con mayor demanda en
el mercado laboral, explorar la oferta educativa y prepararse académicamente para afrontar las
pruebas de admisión de las principales universidades e institutos del país, además de informarse
de becas que les brinden oportunidades únicas para su desarrollo y crecimiento.
Nuestra iniciativa está alineada a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible 2030 y tiene
como principal aspiración contribuir al progreso social y eliminar las barreras de la desigualdad
en la educación, consiguiendo así incrementar la tasa de estudiantes que acceden a la educación
superior. En consecuencia, para la viabilidad del proyecto se plantea una inversión inicial de S/
900,570. Realizando una proyección a 5 años, alcanzaríamos un flujo de caja libre de
S/1,066,152 utilizando un WACC de 10.181%, y finalmente, obtendríamos una TIR modificada
de 44.61%.
In Peru, one of the barriers hindering the country's growth is the education system. While a large percentage of the population has access to secondary education, this same result has not been reflected in the rate of adolescents who pursue higher education. The factors exacerbating this problem lie mainly in limited resources, a lack of vocational guidance, and a lack of awareness about university offerings that would allow young people to continue advancing. This situation creates a growing employment gap between the roles and skills demanded by companies and the talent development at universities to fill these positions. Similarly, the most notable impacts are the increase in the underemployment rate and the decline in the population's quality of life. Given this context, we propose an innovative digital platform as a solution that allows adolescents to make informed decisions about their future. With Edukt, young people will be able to discover their true calling through online vocational tests, access key information on university and technical careers most in-demand in the labor market, explore the educational offerings, and prepare academically to take the admissions tests at the country's leading universities and institutes. They will also learn about scholarships that provide unique opportunities for their development and growth. Our initiative is aligned with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and its main aspiration is to contribute to social progress and eliminate inequality barriers in education, thereby increasing the rate of students accessing higher education. Consequently, for the project's viability, an initial investment of S/ 900,570 is proposed. A 5-year projection would yield a free cash flow of S/. 1,066,152, using a WACC of 10.181%, and ultimately, we would obtain a modified IRR of 44.61%.
