Prevalencia de las alteraciones del habla, voz, tartamudez y sus características en pacientes del Instituto de Diagnóstico y Tratamiento CPAL durante el año 2019

Abstract
El presente estudio tiene como objetivo general determinar la prevalencia y describir las
características de las alteraciones del habla, voz y de la tartamudez en los pacientes del
Instituto de Diagnóstico y Tratamiento CPAL durante el año 2019. Esta investigación es de
tipo básica, con un enfoque cuantitativo. El diseño elegido fue no experimental, de nivel
transversal con alcance descriptivo. El tipo de muestreo es censal, la población la conformaron
todas las historias clínicas de los 502 pacientes, de los cuales 290 historias corresponden a
pacientes con alteraciones del habla, 31 historias de alteraciones en la voz y 181 historias de
pacientes con tartamudez. Los resultados hallados determinaron que existe una gran
prevalencia de las siguientes alteraciones: en las alteraciones del habla, las alteraciones del
tipo musculo-esqueléticas (66.5%) fue el más significativo, en las alteraciones de la fluencia
la tartamudez persistente fue la de mayor incidencia (98.3%) y en las altercaciones de la voz
las disfonías funcionales (61.3%) fueron las de mayor frecuencia. En conclusión, las
alteraciones que con mayor prevalencia se identificaron fue las alteraciones del habla (58%),
seguido de las alteraciones de tartamudez (36%) y en menor porcentaje se identificó las
alteraciones de voz (6%).
The general objective of this study is to determine the prevalence and describe the characteristics of speech, voice and stuttering disorders in patients of the CPAL Institute of Diagnosis and Treatment during the year 2019. This research is of a basic type, with a quantitative approach. The design chosen was non-experimental, cross-level with descriptive scope. The type of sampling is census, the population was made up of all the medical records of the 502 patients, of which 290 histories correspond to patients with speech disorders, 31 histories of voice alterations and 181 histories of patients with stuttering. The results found determined that there is a high prevalence of the following alterations: in speech alterations, alterations of the musculoskeletal type (66.5%) was the most significant, in the alterations of the creep the persistent stuttering was the one with the highest incidence (98.3%) and in the altercations of the voice the functional dysphonies (61.3%) were the most frequent. In conclusion, the alterations that were identified with the highest prevalence were speech alterations (58%), followed by stuttering alterations (36%) and in a lower percentage voice alterations were identified (6%).
