sociales sostenibles.
This study aims to analyze the key factors that contributed to the development of the capacities of mothers and fathers in the co-management of the "Stories and Dreams for Children" project, implemented in the Demetrio Acosta Chuéz community, located in the district of Lambayeque, province and department of Lambayeque, during the period 2021-2022. The methodology applied is qualitative, allowing for an in-depth analysis of the social dynamics and perceptions of the actors involved in the co-management model. Data collection was carried out through structured interviews with mothers and fathers, as well as teachers and board members of the NGO "Proyecto Corazón" (Heart Project). Regarding the conclusions, hard skills such as technological and administrative skills were strengthened, facilitating the active participation of parents in the monitoring and management of activities, reducing dependence on teachers and NGOs, and promoting community autonomy. Furthermore, soft skills such as assertive communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution, among others, were developed. Improving cohesion and cooperation among stakeholders is crucial. It is recommended to consolidate ongoing training in both hard and soft skills, while simultaneously implementing specific roles such as volunteer coordinators and team motivators. Furthermore, clear mechanisms for community participation should be established to ensure the autonomy of the comanagement model. This research is important from a social management perspective because it demonstrates how structured community participation and capacity building enable the co-management of sustainable social projects.
