generando ingresos recurrentes.
In Peru, the high incidence of dental diseases and limited access to treatments for low-income individuals constitute a serious social problem. The lack of medical insurance and insufficient dental health education exacerbate this situation, resulting in costly and complex treatments as patients age. To address this issue, the development of YachayDent is proposed, a digital web that connects low-income patients with dental students who, under the supervision of faculty, provide quality care at affordable prices. This solution not only facilitates practical education for students but also provides accessible dental care to the community, contributing to the reduction of inequalities in oral health. In that sense, at a social level, it will improve access to dental care in vulnerable communities and reduce inequalities in oral health, aligning with SDG 3, SDG 4 and SDG 10. From a financial perspective, the project envisions a sustainable and scalable model, with revenues generated from a fixed fee per treatment paid by the student. This model is supported by an efficient cost structure, which includes the use of technology to optimize processes, promoting both growth and the replicability of the model in other regions. The financial projections include a Net Present Value (NPV) of S/ 1.12 million, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 62.35%, and a Social Net Present Value (SNVP) of S/ 11.36 million, ensuring economic viability and long-term social impact. The solution’s scalability, driven by its digital approach, will enable its expansion in both national and international markets, reaching a broader audience and generating recurring revenues.
