Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo general determinar el nivel de conocimiento
sobre el Trastorno de Desarrollo del Lenguaje en terapeutas ocupacionales y psicólogos
educativos de Lima metropolitana, a través de la adaptación y validación del cuestionario
sobre el conocimiento del TDL elaborado por Caballero y Ushijima. Asimismo, identificar el
nivel de conocimiento de la definición del Trastorno del Desarrollo del Lenguaje en
terapeutas ocupacionales y psicólogos educativos en Lima metropolitana. Por otro lado, se
precisa determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre las características, factores de riesgo, la
derivación en TDL y finalmente determinar el conocimiento de TDL según las variables
sociodemográficas. La investigación es de tipo descriptiva y el diseño no experimental.
Asimismo, este estudio se ajusta a un diseño descriptivo comparativo, la población que se
estudia está compuesta por 60 participantes entre terapeutas ocupacionales y psicólogos
educativos. El instrumento que se aplica es el Cuestionario de conocimiento de TDL, el
cual se verifica por un método de juicio de expertos, para obtener la validez y confiabilidad
del mismo.
Los resultados señalan que existe diferencia significativa en el conocimiento sobre el TDL
en terapeutas ocupacionales y psicólogos educativos de Lima metropolitana, según la
profesión ejercida, llegando a la conclusión que, existe un nivel de conocimiento regular
sobre el TDL en los terapeutas ocupacionales y psicólogos educativos de Lima
metropolitana, no se verifica diferencia significativa en el conocimiento sobre TDL tanto
en terapeutas ocupacionales y psicólogos educativos en relación a las variables
sociodemográficas.
This research aims to determine the level of knowledge about Language Development Disorder among occupational therapists and educational psychologists in Lima city, through the adaptation and validation from questionnaire on knowledge of LDD developed by Caballero and Ushijima. Also, to identify the level of knowledge of the definition of Language Development Disorder among occupational therapists and educational psychologists in Lima city. On the other hand, it is necessary to determine the level of knowledge about the characteristics, risk factors, LDL derivation and finally determine the knowledge of LDD according to sociodemographic variables. The research is descriptive, and the design is non-experimental. In addition, this study conforms to a comparative descriptive design, the study population is composed of 60 participants among occupational therapists and educational psychologists. The instrument used is the LDD Knowledge Questionnaire, which is verified by an expert judgement method to obtain its validity and reliability. The results indicate that there is a significant difference in the knowledge about LDD among occupational therapists and educational psychologists in Lima city, according to the profession, concluding that, there is a regular level of knowledge about LDD among occupational therapists and educational psychologists in Lima city, there is no significant difference in the knowledge about LDD among occupational therapists and educational psychologists in relation to sociodemographic variables.
