Abstract
The entire world was affected by the COVID-19 health crisis, leading to the rethinking of people's lifestyles. The social distancing imposed on the population generated several changes in the way of commuting, the bicycle being one of the most promoted vehicle, because it contributes to maintaining distance and increasing the physical activity needed during confinement. BICLAPP was born as a solution aimed at users of this means of urban transport, which aims to make the cyclist feel safer when moving. This project will provide users with updated information in real time, through a route map, the location of exclusive parking lots for bicycles, information on specialized workshops, tourist spots with easy access and the possibility of joining a cyclist community. On the other hand, BICLAPP is also designed to give visibility to local businesses to their target audience, since they will have the possibility of showing their most attractive offers within the interactive map. Finally, through the economic analysis carried out, with a horizon of 5 years, a positive financial NPV of S/1.9 MM is obtained, demonstrating value for shareholders and being attractive for future investors. Likewise, the economic analysis for society is carried out, estimating the benefits and costs that impact the community, obtaining a social NPV of S/97.1 MM, thus evidencing a large-scale positive impact for society. It should be noted that the financial NPV would represent around 2% of the value that the project represents to society. In this way, this solution is designed to provide the best experience for urban transport users, promoting the responsible use of bicycles, encouraging healthy living and caring for the environment. Likewise, it is an initiative that is profitable and sustainable over time for shareholders and society.
