Abstract

(2021) and Acosta et al. (2009) have shown that this fruit is rich in bioactive compounds such as polyphenols, vitamin C and carotenoids which contribute to reduce stress and improve mental health, being a unique value proposition by combining the natural benefits of Quito Quito with the convenience and attractiveness of a portable and pleasant candy format. Through user experiments, financial simulations and detailed marketing and operational plans, we confirmed the potential of this venture; with an NPV of S/ 4,871,100.50 and an IRR of 154.94% that evidences its profitability. In addition, it demonstrates a solid sustainability proposal aligned with the SDGs related to mental health, wellness, and responsible production, generating a positive social impact.
