Abstract
I.E. pública de San Miguel.
Jean Le Boulch, Julián Ajuriaguerra, Patricia Stokoe, Bernard Aucouturier y Josefa
Psychomotricity is a topic that is on the rise in our country given its importance for the integral development of children. This study is based on the interest in knowing what methodological strategies five-year-old teachers use to develop psychomotricity. Investigating this topic after two years of distance education is relevant, since sedentary lifestyles in children have increased. The general objective is to analyze the methodological strategies used by teachers to develop the psychomotricity of five- year-old children from a public school in San Miguel. The present work is a qualitative and descriptive research, whose instrument used the semi-structured interview guide. The informants considered for the research are five teachers from the five-year sections. The findings show that teachers consider the approaches of Jean Le Boulch, Julian Ajuriaguerra, Patricia Stokoe, Bernard Aucouturier and Josefa Lora to develop psychomotricity in children. Being the methodological strategies most frequently used by the five teachers: motor game, spontaneous game and relaxation, while dance and dramatic game are used less frequently. This study is fundamental because psychomotricity is approached in a holistic way, allowing us to recognize and understand the methodological strategies used by teachers to develop this discipline.
