acceso a financiamiento.
The Implementation Plan for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in ALFRIMAC PERÚ S.A.C. aims to align the company’s accounting practices with international standards, enhancing the transparency, reliability, and comparability of its financial information. Currently, the primary issue is the partial adoption of IFRS (IAS 2, 12, 16, 19, and 38), raising questions about how full implementation will impact the company’s financial and economic standing. Specific issues include assessing the effects on financial statements, explanatory notes, and key financial indicators. The project provides both theoretical and practical justifications for the importance of IFRS, emphasizing their role in delivering clear, harmonized financial information and building confidence among local and international investors and stakeholders. In a globalized environment, these standards are vital for ensuring well-informed financial decisions and access to funding. However, in Peru, challenges persist in adopting IFRS, particularly for non-SMV-supervised companies like ALFRIMAC, which require adjustments to their accounting processes. The plan’s general objective is to establish a comprehensive process for IFRS implementation at ALFRIMAC during 2024, with specific goals focused on evaluating their influence on financial statements and economic ratios. Despite limitations, such as restricted access to confidential company information, this plan seeks to leverage IFRS benefits, positioning ALFRIMAC under international standards to enhance its competitiveness and appeal in global markets.
