Conocimiento de los padres de familia sobre el desarrollo lingüístico de los niños de 1 a 3 años en instituciones educativas pública y privada de Lima

Abstract
El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar el conocimiento de los padres de familia
sobre el desarrollo lingüístico de los niños de 1 a 3 años en instituciones educativas pública
y privada de Lima. Siendo una investigación de tipo aplicada y de diseño descriptivo
comparativo. La población estuvo conformada por 89 padres de niños que se encuentran
cursando el nivel Inicial de la Institución educativa privada Cristo Salvador y de la
Institución educativa pública Padre Iluminato. La técnica utilizada corresponde a la del test
y el instrumento fue un cuestionario, el cual fue validado mediante juicio de expertos. De
acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos no se observan diferencias significativas en el nivel de
conocimiento de los padres de familia según institución educativa, grado de instrucción
parental y número de hijos. Sin embargo, se observa una tendencia que, a mayor número de
hijos y grado de instrucción parental, mayor conocimiento del desarrollo lingüístico.
The aim of this study/research is to determine the parents' level of knowledge about the linguistic development of children from 1 to 3 years in public and private schools in Lima. Being an applied type of research and comparative descriptive design. The population is made up of 89 parents of children who are studying the pre-school level in the private-school Cristo Salvador and in the public-school Padre Iluminato. The technique used is the test and the instrument is a questionnaire, which was validated by Expert Judgment. According to the results obtained, no significant differences are observed in the level of knowledge of parents according to school, level education and the number of children. However, there is a trend that the parents’ higher level of education, the greater the knowledge about linguistic development. And that the greater the number of children they have, the greater the knowledge of linguistic development.
