Abstract
El presente documento consiste en la elaboración del Planeamiento Estratégico de la
Industria del Vidrio, Cerámica, Refractarios y afines. El Plan estratégico fue desarrollado
tomando en cuenta información actual e histórica respecto a la industria, así como también
los factores externos e internos que intervienen en su ciclo productivo. La empresa pertenece
al sector manufactura, del rubro Minerales no metálicos y se tiene una amplia información
respecto a la industria dado que casa uno de los sub-sectores: vidrio, cerámica y refractarios
posee cada uno sus propias fortalezas, debilidades, oportunidades y amenazas las cuales
finalmente han servido como punto de partida para la elaboración de las matrices de análisis
del planeamiento: matriz de evaluación de factores externos, internos, las cuales se usaron
para la elaboración de la gran matriz FODA donde se plasmaron las estrategias a utilizar con
el afán de lograr los objetivos de largo plazo.
La industria en mención como dice el párrafo anterior pertenece al rubro manufactura
el cual juega un papel importante para la contribución al PBI Nacional y a la empleabilidad.
Sin embargo la industria a la actualidad no alcanza los márgenes deseados dado que la
competencia externa y factores internos han influido de manera directa en los resultados de la
industria. Un común denominador en la industria es la falta de visión que carece así como
también una marcada desintegración lo cual hace que no se tenga un plan claro al 2027 que
tenga por objetivo incrementar los ingresos y generar más empleo. Es por ello que las
estrategias planteadas servirán para que los objetivos de incrementar el volumen de ventas, el
ROE y la empleabilidad formal sean sostenibles al 2027 basándonos en la aplicación de
mejores prácticas, tecnología, innovación, mano de obra calificada para de esta manera
obtener la ventaja competitiva que nos hará líderes en la región
The present document consists on the elaboration of the Strategic Planning of the Glass Industry, ceramics, refractories and related. The Strategic Plan was developed taking into account current and historical information regarding the industry, as well as external and internal factors that intervene in its production cycle. Since it is a manufacturing company in the non-metallic Minerals sector, there is ample information regarding the industry, since each of the sub-sectors: glass, ceramics and refractories has its own strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Which have finally served as a starting point for the elaboration of the planning analysis matrix. In addition, this information served as the basis for the development of the different strategies with the aim of achieving the long-term objectives. The industry, as mentioned in the previous paragraph, belongs to the manufacturing sector which plays an important role for the contribution to the National GDP and the employability. However, today's industry does not reach the desired margins since external competition and the few or almost no state reforms in favor of operations have a direct influence on the sector performance. A common denominator in the industry is the lack of a long-term vision, this is clearly observable by the fact that it does not have a clear plan to 2027 aimed to increase sales and generate more employment. That is why the strategies proposed will serve to ensure that the objectives of increasing sales volume, ROE and formal employability are sustainable by the next decade, based on the application of best practices, technology, innovation and skilled labor to achieve the competitive advantage that will make us the regional leaders
