Abstract
This research focuses on analysing the theatrical and non-theatrical tools used by students to address their vulnerability in the interpretation of characters during the formative acting process at college in FARES PUCP. Through the collection of sources and the application of interviews with students and teachers, we seek to identify both the theatrical and non-theatrical tools used on stage and to explain the consequences of playing a character without the appropriate tools. The research comes from the personal barriers we identified to address vulnerability and the conviction that FARES artistic training should provide the right tools for emotional bonding and detachment when playing a character. By identifying our personal experience as a repetitive phenomenon in the students of the faculty and which is also expressed in the recent increase in research on the subject, we decided to focus the meaning of the research on the students process and therefore, the pedagogical processes of the teachers , collecting and analysing the testimonies to conceptualize terms such as vulnerability by generating a dialogue between what the faculty presents through the practice and how the students internalize them.
