Abstract
El Hotel Costa de Sol fundó su primer hotel en Tumbes hace más de 20 años y en
atención a la demanda de servicios a nivel nacional, decidió expandir la cadena de hoteles
con sedes en diferentes ciudades del Perú.
El plan estratégico desarrollado en el presente documento se compone de un conjunto
de actividades que se desarrollan de manera secuencial con la finalidad de proyectarse al
futuro. Mediante el análisis competitivo se identificó el nivel de atractividad de la industria
del turismo peruano, concluyendo que es altamente atractiva en la Región Cajamarca debido
a que sus barreras de entrada son bajas, y los servicios de hospedaje turísticos al ser únicos
pueden ser explotados por la organización.
Las fuerzas que interactúan en la industria exigen que se desarrollen los factores
claves de éxito de la misma para hacer frente a los riesgos y amenazas, y aprovechar las
oportunidades. Hotel Costa del Sol Cajamarca cuenta con una amplia trayectoria y
experiencia que, sumado a su fuerte posición competitiva en la industria hotelera en el país,
lo posiciona como una corporación con capacidades para alcanzar su visión propuesto en el
presente plan estratégico.
Los objetivos de largo plazo pretenden establecer el camino para alcanzar la visión
establecida, los cuales están soportados en los intereses, el potencial y los principios
cardinales del Hotel Costa de Sol Cajamarca. El potencial de la empresa es de gran
envergadura, pero al ser un jugador del sector hotelero deberá innovar sus servicios e
infraestructura de modo que se pueda diferenciar y los clientes se fidelicen.
The Hotel Costa de Sol founded its first hotel in Tumbes more than 20 years ago and in response to the demand for services nationwide, decided to expand the chain of hotels with locations in different cities of Peru. The strategic plan developed in this document is composed of a set of activities that are developed sequentially in order to project into the future. Through competitive analysis, the level of attractiveness of the Peruvian tourism industry was identified, concluding that it is highly attractive in the Cajamarca Region because its entry barriers are low, and the tourist lodging services being unique can be exploited by the organization. The forces that interact in the industry demand that the key success factors of the industry be developed to face the risks and threats and take advantage of the opportunities. Hotel Costa del Sol Cajamarca has an extensive background and experience that, added to its strong competitive position in the hotel industry in the country, positions it as a corporation with capabilities to achieve its vision proposed in this strategic plan. The long-term objectives are intended to establish the path to reach the established vision, which are supported by the interests, potential and the cardinal principles of the Hotel Costa de Sol Cajamarca. The potential of the company is of great importance, but since it is a player in the hotel sector, it will have to innovate its services and infrastructure in such a way that it can be differentiated, and the clients can be trusted.
