Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación realiza un análisis de la situación actual de
MabyCorp S.A.C., empresa situada en la ciudad de Sullana, región de Piura, fundada el 15 de
julio de 2015. MabyCorp se dedica al comercio mayorista y minorista de bienes no duraderos
y diversos, y actualmente cuenta con 50 empleados. El objetivo de este análisis es optimizar
sus operaciones y fortalecer su posición competitiva poniendo en funcionamiento un sistema
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
La empresa enfrenta desafíos significativos en la gestión financiera, operativa y de
recursos humanos, así como en la adaptación a cambios tecnológicos y del mercado. Un
análisis FODA reveló debilidades en la planificación financiera, la coordinación operativa y
la capacitación del personal, junto con oportunidades para mejorar la eficiencia operativa y la
fidelización del cliente. Los objetivos estratégicos incluyen optimizar la gestión financiera,
mejorar la propuesta de valor al cliente, gestionar la innovación y desarrollar el capital
humano.
La implementación del ERP, proyectada a lo largo de 12 meses, incluye fases de
evaluación, planificación, diseño, desarrollo, capacitación e implementación. Se espera que el
ERP mejore significativamente los indicadores financieros de MabyCorp, con un Valor
Actual Neto (VAN) proyectado de S/ 1’367,508.06, comparado con S/ 1’071,464.63 sin ERP,
y una utilidad proyectada de S/ 2’688,395.70, lo que representa una diferencia de
S/590,590.35 respecto a la utilidad sin ERP.
La adopción del ERP es una inversión estratégica que mejorará la eficiencia y
rentabilidad de la empresa, fortaleciendo su posición competitiva en el mercado. Con el
compromiso continuo de la alta dirección, una capacitación adecuada y una gestión del
cambio efectiva, MabyCorp maximizará los beneficios del ERP, asegurando un crecimiento
sostenible a largo plazo.
This research focuses on analyzing the current situation of MabyCorp S.A.C., a company based in the Piura region with its main location in the city of Sullana, founded on July 15, 2015. MabyCorp is engaged in the wholesale and retail trade of non-durable and diverse goods and currently employs 50 people. The objective of this analysis is to optimize its operations and strengthen its competitive position through the implementation of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. The company faces significant challenges in financial, operational, and human resource management, as well as in adapting to technological and market changes. A SWOT analysis revealed weaknesses in financial planning, operational coordination, and staff training, along with opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer loyalty. The strategic objectives include optimizing financial management, enhancing the customer value proposition, managing innovation, and developing human capital. The ERP implementation, projected over 12 months, includes phases of evaluation, planning, design, development, training, and implementation. The ERP is expected to significantly improve MabyCorp's financial indicators, with a projected Net Present Value (NPV) of S/1’367,508.06, compared to S/1’071,464.63 without ERP, and a projected profit of S/2’688,395.70, representing a difference of S/590,590.35 compared to the profit without ERP. The adoption of the ERP is a strategic investment that will enhance the company's efficiency and profitability, strengthening its competitive position in the market. With the continuous commitment of senior management, adequate training, and effective change management, MabyCorp will maximize the benefits of the ERP, ensuring sustainable long- term growth.
