The present study aimed to explore the experiences of psychological well-being in a group of university students who participated in educational volunteering during the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through a qualitative approach, an inductive thematic design and a semi-structured interview technique were used in order to broaden the knowledge about psychological well-being, from the experiences of 6 volunteers interviewed during one of the most complex moments that humanity has been through. The results revealed that socializing experiences with other volunteers constituted an essential source of well-being for the respondents, through the strengthening of friendship ties and social support received from these members. Similarly, the experiences about the pursuit of personal growth generated satisfaction in the participants, through the sense of achievement of the activities and volunteering goals, and the development of professional skills. Finally, the experiences of contributing to the wellbeing of the beneficiary population of the volunteer work were found to be rewarding for the participants, due to the possibility of generating a significant social contribution with their work in education of children and adolescents.
