Architecture has the obligation to be a medium capable of generating dynamics that enhance the virtues of a certain landscape (urban or rural). This leads to an exhaustive search to understand the site, reveal its secrets, reinterpret it and inhabit it, and then turn that site into a place. The link between Man - Pachamama has been lost. The system of coexistence of other times where every act was in close relationship with the land, untilit became an almosts a credrite, and where the common good was the basis of the entire society; has faded away. Today we live in a consumer system. This makes people selfish entities; unable to see for others and for the environment that welcomes them, causing the desecration of the landscape, represented in tangible elements such as architecture. The project in the Salineras de Maras, therefore, seeks to reconstruct the landscape (which has been affected by the lack of rationality and adequate sense in the implementation of constructions, degrading and attacking the landscape directly), at the same time that it seeks reconnect the local population with the land that houses them and with the underlying productive activities, that is: artisanal salt extraction and tourism. To do this, an exploration process is carried out through the plastic arts and modeling (drawing, engraving, sculpture, model) to be able to abstract and reinterpret the landscape and the architectural object, seeking an architecture - landscape relationship that provides. As a result, a dialogue between the parties and achieving synergies between both, without leaving aside the functionality of the project, productive activities and collective memory. As a result, the successful integration of architecture into the landscape requires a deep understanding of the natural environment and the application of specific design techniques for each project and environment, always remembering that population and natural needs must play a role in architecture from the moment of its approach. The research concludes with the presentation of a proposal that aspires to be a comprehensive solution, from architecture, for the revitalization of the landscape in the Salineras de Maras, respecting the local identity with its respective dynamics and providing an enriching experience for visitors.
