Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing speaking accuracy variables (Andrade, 2006), according to disfluency typology, speech rate and disruption frequency in spontaneous speaking. In the results, the age group of 31:00 to 40:11 years old had the higher average of common disfluencies and stammering, there is a high percentage of speech discontinuance, hesitations, interjections and revisions, these are the most common and frequent disfluencies. Regarding speaking speed, the before mentioned age group also showed better speaking frequency rate both in words and syllables per minute.
