The objective of this thesis was to examine the relationship between the frequency of Physical Activity (PA) and the levels of stress and anxiety in students of a private university in Metropolitan Lima. The sample consisted of 139 students (65 men and 74 women) of which, 38,8% stated that they performed PA at high intensity, 46% at moderate intensity, and 15,1% at low intensity. On the other hand, it was not possible to find a correlation between PA levels and the stress and anxiety variables, so it was not possible to establish a linear regression model between the variables. Likewise, no significant differences were found according to the controlled variable of Sex regarding the levels of stress and state anxiety and trait. However, according to the academic cycle, a difference could be observed between the initial cycles with respect to the final ones in stress levels (p=.004).
