Abstract
El presente trabajo tiene como propósito establecer si existe relación entre
el nivel educativo de los padres de familia y la comprensión de estructuras
gramaticales de sus hijos. Para la realización del estudio se seleccionó una muestra
de 118 niños entre 4 y 5 años de edad que cursan el nivel de educación inicial de
dos instituciones educativas socioeconómicamente diferenciadas. El tipo de
muestreo fue no probabilístico, se dividió en dos grupos, uno de 60 niños de la
institución educativa pública y otro de 58 niños pertenecientes a la institución
educativa privada.
El tipo de investigación fue correlacional y el diseño empleado fue el
transversal.
Se aplicó como instrumento el Test de Comprensión de Estructuras
Gramaticales (CEG) a los estudiantes de 4 y 5 años que cursan el nivel de educación
inicial de las dos instituciones educativas. La información acerca del grado de
instrucción de los padres se obtuvo de las fichas de matrícula.
Los resultados de la investigación concluyeron que sí existe relación entre
el nivel educativo de los padres de familia y la comprensión de estructuras
gramaticales de los niños.
The present investigation’s objective is to establish if there is a relation between the educational level of the parents and the understanding of the grammatical structures in their children. To this research, we ask for the participation of 118 children who were 4 and 5 years old. Children studied in different social economy pre-school. The sampling was not probabilistic divided in two groups. One group was formed by 60 children of a public school and the other group was formed by 58 children of a private school. The type of investigation was correlational and its design was transversal. We applied The CEG test (Grammatical Structures Comprehension). The information about the educational level of the parents were obtained from register files children. The investigation results concluded that there is a significant relation between the educational level of the parents and the grammatical structures comprehension in their children.
