Opinión docente sobre la utilidad de una plataforma virtual para la enseñanza y aprendizaje del idioma inglés en una institución educativa privada de Lima

Abstract
En la enseñanza y aprendizaje del idioma inglés se ha venido utilizando diferentes recursos,
entre ellos se encuentran desde los libros de texto hasta las Plataformas Virtuales. Las
plataformas pueden ser muy útiles en la labor de enseñanza de los docentes y en el
aprendizaje de los estudiantes. En ese sentido, esta investigación plantea el problema ¿Cuál
es la opinión de los docentes sobre la utilidad de una Plataforma Virtual para la Enseñanza y
Aprendizaje del idioma inglés en una Institución Educativa Privada de Lima?, y tiene como
objetivo principal el de analizar la opinión de los docentes sobre la utilidad de una plataforma
virtual para la enseñanza y aprendizaje del idioma inglés en una institución educativa privada
de nivel superior de Lima. El enfoque de investigación es cuantitativo y se desarrolló en un
nivel descriptivo. Para ello se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta a los docentes, a través de un
cuestionario con respuestas cerradas, el cual fue validado previamente por expertos. Para el
recojo y organización de la información se utilizaron la variable, subvariables e indicadores
establecidas para la investigación y se aplicó un análisis estadístico de medidas de tendencia
central. Las conclusiones muestran que la mayoría de los docentes está de acuerdo que la
Plataforma Virtual en investigación es útil para los objetivos de enseñanza y aprendizaje del
idioma inglés, debido a que su estructura, metodología y recursos tanto para los docentes
como para los alumnos permiten implementar una modalidad de enseñanza basado en el
enfoque comunicativo, desarrollando en los alumnos las habilidades necesarias para el
dominio del idioma.
In the teaching and learning of the English language, different resources have been used, among them are from textbooks to Virtual Platforms. Platforms can be very useful in the teaching work of teachers and in student learning. In this sense, this research poses the problem: What is the opinion of teachers about the usefulness of a Virtual Platform for the Teaching and Learning of the English language in a Private Educational Institution of Lima? and its main objective is to analyze the Teachers' opinion on the usefulness of a virtual platform for teaching and learning the English language in a private higher education institution in Lima. The research approach is quantitative and was developed at a descriptive level. For this, the survey technique was applied to teachers, through a questionnaire with closed answers, which was previously validated by experts. For the collection and organization of the information, the variable, sub variables and indicators established for the investigation were used and a statistical analysis of measures of central tendency was applied. The conclusions show that the majority of teachers agree that the Virtual Platform in research is useful for the teaching and learning objectives of the English language, because its structure, methodology and resources for both teachers and students allow to implement a teaching modality based on the communicative approach, developing in the students the necessary skills to master the language.
