altamente positiva, a mayor informalidad, mayor pobreza percibida.
The last few years of sustained economic growth and the new normal generated by the COVID-19 Pandemic have led the Peruvian population to tend to undertake. Most of the ventures can be generated by opportunities identified in the market or by the need to be selfemployed. The informal employment in which more than 76% of the EAP in Peru is immersed becomes an incentive to undertake. It should be noted that the correlation between poverty and informality is highly positive, the greater the informality, the greater the perceived poverty. On the other hand, poverty is characterized by the invisibility of the possession of certain assets and the impossibility of formal income support. The underlying problem is that new entrepreneurs and workers, specifically in civil construction, encounter barriers to access to formal credit, which prevents them from obtaining the desired initial capital. The solution to this problem is based on a business model that uses microfinance for social purposes, in which the “Chambero Emprendedor” Financial Institution will invest in financing construction tools and equipment, with the aim of improving the productivity of entrepreneurs. Productivity is based on knowledge of the correct use and maintenance of the tools and equipment acquired, which will result in greater income for entrepreneurs. They are invited to conceptualize this new business model, which will shed new light on the construction sector, which contributes a large percentage to the national GDP, but is neglected by the private and public sectors. The business model is viable and sustainable as it has an economic NPV of S/ 6.40 MM and a financial NPV of S/ 6.64 MM. Likewise, according to the goals of SDG 8, two of them were impacted and therefore, an IRS of 16.7% is obtained. Likewise, the “Chambero Emprendedor” Financial Institution has a social NPV of S/ 12.04 MM.
