Abstract
Este proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo principal ofrecer una alternativa de
solución para mitigar el problema social relevante relacionado con la salud de la población
mundial que consume frutas y vegetales con altos niveles de residuos químicos para su
comercialización, lo que es ocasionado por el uso desmedido de fungicidas convencionales
en la agricultura. Este proyecto está alineado con la ODS 3 Salud y bienestar, y ODS 12
Producción y consumo responsable. Se propone una solución ecológica a base de aceite
vegetal ozonizado, denominado Ozonoil Plus, que elimina efectivamente las enfermedades en
las plantas originadas por hongos, bacterias y virus que atacan a los cultivos de todo el
mundo y adicionalmente algunas plagas como ácaros, queresas, etc. El principio activo del
producto es el “ozono” que tiene gran poder oxidante, lo que lo convierte en un fuerte agente
microbiano, cuya degradación deja cero residualidad en las frutas y vegetales para el
consumo humano y la exportación (De Alencar et al., 2011). Se hicieron pruebas de campo
mediante aplicaciones de Ozonoil Plus en cultivos de olivos, paltos y mandarinas de las
principales empresas agroexportadoras de Ica y Arequipa como Nobex, SunFruits y San
Miguel, los que demostraron su deseabilidad. Es un modelo de negocio B2B y los ingresos se
generan por las ventas del aceite ozonizado en presentación de 20 y 200 litros, con
producción propia y alcance nacional desde el primer año. En conclusión, se determinó que el
modelo de negocio es deseable, factible, con potencial para escalar a nivel mundial y
reemplazar a muchos fungicidas tradicionales. Así también, se demostró la viabilidad por las
cifras que presenta: VAN de +US$ 1,100,917 y TIR de 240% para una inversión de US$
128,131.
