In our country, the presence of houses with adobe wall persists, which exhibit great vulnerability to earthquakes, making it imperative to address their structural problems. There is a construction technique that involves the confinement of adobe walls with reinforced concrete elements, which has shown evidence of good behavior. For this reason, this work aims to determine the feasibility of numerically representing these structures through the evaluation of modeling approaches. Firstly, a bibliographic review of previous research works and tests related to this construction technique is carried out. Likewise, relevant information is collected about fundamental definitions of numerical modeling for the development of the work. Then, the modeling techniques associated with the use of the ETABS computer software are delved into, which will be used to carry out the modeling of the structure under study. Subsequently, the calibration of the modeling techniques is carried out using as reference the results of two tests performed in the Structures Laboratory at PUCP. The first case is the cyclic lateral load test applied to a confined adobe wall, guaranteeing its reliability. In the second case, we proceeded with the modeling of a two-level structure tested on a vibrating table using previously calibrated modeling techniques. The results of these models are analyzed with the aim of determining whether it is possible to adequately represent the behavior of this type of structures
