Abstract
propia autoridad.
The present investigation aims to show and compare the way in which young people live religiosity in the San Lázaro neighborhood of the Rímac district; that is, how the religious dimension in relation to their daily life has been built in them and how it is manifested in their social life, the beliefs and practices that they consider important in their actions towards others. At the same time, it aims to expose how the sense of community and the experiences acquired inside or outside the parish influence the way in which they practice their faith. The study focuses on knowing how people believe (own of qualitative methodology approach). In other words, how religion is lived in a certain study group based on the analysis of natural behaviors, discourses and open answers for the subsequent interpretation of meanings in the analysis of in-depth interviews. Therefore, the emphasis is on how they understand and practice religion these days. For this, it’s expected to see how religion is lived taking into account the beliefs and practices that they consider important in their lives. This research includes the concept of "lived religion", which it is being incorporated into the agenda of socio-religious studies and analysis in Latin America, as will be seen in previous successful works. For this reason, it’s considered pertinent to approach the young person of the 21st century in order to know, in the light of their experiences, this new way of seeing religion, in which the subject becomes his own authority.
