Abstract
competencias.
The present research seeks to explore the existing relationships between teachers' epistemological beliefs and conceptions, and school learning assessment practices in order to identify whether teachers' beliefs are oriented towards a constructivist epistemological paradigm, which is related to the intention of education by competencies, proposed by the National Curriculum Design since 2009 and updated in 2016 in the National Curriculum for Basic Education. It was conducted a qualitative research of phenomenological design and deductive thematic analysis of intentional cut with teachers of the second year of secondary school, in an educational institution of public educational management, in Metropolitan Lima. We managed to identify a gap between national or institutional guidelines on learning assessment and teachers' epistemological conceptions, which are not related to a competency-based assessment orientation.
