identidades marginal y bicultural, respectivamente.
The objective of the research was to evaluate the relation between deaf identity, sense of community and self-concept on deaf young adults of Lima, during the COVID-19 pandemic. For this purpose, a quantitative approach was used, at a descriptive-correlational and crosssectional level. Participants were 60 young adults with hearing loss between 21 and 30 years of age (M = 23.9, SD = 2.04). To measure deaf identity, the Deaf Identity Development Scale was used (Fischer & McWhirter, 2001), for the sense of community, the SCI-2 Sense of Community Scale (Tavara, 2012), and for self-concept, the Personal Self-Concept Questionnaire (Goñi et al., 2011). The results showed positive associations between immersive deaf identity with all dimensions of sense of community and with emotional self- concept. On the other hand, the hearing and marginal identities were inversely associated with the sense of community, self-realization, emotions and autonomy. In addition, an inverse and moderate association was found between age and deaf immersion identity, and small to medium positive associations were found between age and marginal and bicultural identities, respectively.
