Abstract
El tráfico ilegal de armas en el Perú se ha convertido en un problema alarmante
y en aumento. Lamentablemente, las autoridades competentes no han logrado
mantener un control efectivo sobre el comercio de armas en el mercado negro.
Además, algunas de estas armas provienen de las propias fuerzas armadas, lo que
agrava aún más la situación. Se plantea como objetivo el analizar cuáles son las
deficiencias en el control de las armas de fuego incautadas por parte de la PNP en
Lima Metropolitana 2018 – 2022. Como metodología se utilizó al proyecto de
innovación.
Para efectos de la propuesta, se ha seguido los procedimientos descritos en el
manual, identificando las causas del problema: El deficiente control de las armas de
fuego incautadas por parte de la PNP en Lima Metropolitana 2018 – 2022.
El estudio concluye afirmando que el deficiente control de las armas de fuego
incautadas por parte de la PNP es un problema público que tiene un impacto negativo
en la seguridad ciudadana. Para abordar este problema, es necesario que las
unidades policiales implementen medidas que fortalezcan el registro y seguimiento
de las armas incautadas, así como aumente los recursos y personal para la
incautación y pertrechos de armas de fuego.
Illegal arms trafficking in Peru has become an alarming and growing problem. Unfortunately, the competent authorities have failed to maintain effective control over the black market arms trade. Furthermore, some of these weapons come from the armed forces themselves, which further aggravates the situation. The objective is to analyze the deficiencies in the control of firearms seized by the PNP in Metropolitan Lima 2018 – 2022. The innovation project was used as a methodology. For the purposes of the proposal, the procedures described in the manual have been followed, identifying the causes of the problem: The poor control of seized firearms by the PNP in Metropolitan Lima 2018 – 2022. The study concludes by stating that the poor control of seized firearms by the PNP is a public problem that has a negative impact on citizen security. To address this problem, it is necessary for police units to implement measures that strengthen the registration and monitoring of seized weapons, as well as increase resources and personnel for the seizure and supplies of firearms.
