Abstract
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo explorar el nivel de Satisfacción Laboral y su relación con el Estrés Ocupacional en enfermeras del sector de Salud Pública. Para tal fin, se aplicaron dos instrumentos de medición: Escala SL – SPC para trabajadores de Lima Metropolitana y la Escala de Estrés Laboral de la OIT-OMS a una muestra total de 100 enfermeras de dos hospitales de Lima Metropolitana, con un rango de edad de 22 a 61 años. A partir de los resultados obtenidos es posible decir que las enfermeras de los hospitales públicos tiene un nivel de Satisfacción Laboral promedio bajo, cuyas dimensiones con menor puntuación son: Beneficios Económicos y Condiciones de Trabajo. Asimismo, presentan un grado promedio bajo de Estrés Ocupacional, siendo el componente Superiores y Recursos el que obtiene un mayor puntaje.
Finalmente, se halló que existe una correlación inversamente proporcional moderada entre el nivel total de Satisfacción Laboral y el de Estrés Ocupacional.
This research aims at exploring the level of Job Satisfaction and its relationship with Occupational Stress in nurses in the public health sector. To this end, two measuring instruments were applied: Scale SL - SPC for workers Andhra Job Stress Scale ILO-WHO a total sample of 100 nurses from two hospitals in Metropolitan Lima, within an age range of 22-61 years. The results suggest that the nurses in public hospitals have a low average Job Satisfaction level. The dimensions with lower scores are: Economic Benefits and Working Conditions. Also have a low average degree of Occupational Stress. The Senior and Resources components register the higher scores. Finally, a moderate inverse correlation was found between the total level of Job Satisfaction and Occupational Stress.
