Desarrollo de una metodología integral para articular los criterios del modelo de calidad para la acreditación institucional y los requisitos de la ISO 21001, de acuerdo al contexto de las universidades privadas de Lima Metropolitana

Resumen
La presente investigación se enfocó en la alineación del sistema de gestión para
organizaciones educativas y la acreditación institucional, su objetivo fue desarrollar una
metodología integral que permita articular los criterios del modelo de calidad para la
acreditación institucional con los requisitos de la norma ISO 21001, de acuerdo al
contexto de las universidades privadas de Lima Metropolitana.
El estudio utiliza un enfoque cualitativo y un diseño no experimental. Se emplearon
análisis documental y entrevistas a la alta dirección universitaria, utilizando como
instrumentos una guía de análisis documental y una guía de entrevista.
De acuerdo a los resultados, después del análisis de los modelos de calidad de
acreditación institucional nacional e internacional (SINEACE, IAC-CINDA, WSCUC y
NECHE), se determinaron 9 dimensiones y 20 criterios del modelo de calidad para la
acreditación institucional pertinentes al contexto de las universidades privadas de Lima
Metropolitana, que fueron validados por expertos en calidad educativa, y se articularon
con los requisitos de la norma ISO 21001. Posteriormente, se diseñó una guía de
entrevista que fue aplicada a la alta dirección de una universidad privada de Lima
Metropolitana y se validó su efectividad en la cobertura de ambos sistemas. Con ello,
se pretende que las universidades privadas de Lima Metropolitana mejoren su gestión
de calidad educativa y los servicios brindados a los estudiantes.
This research focused on the alignment of the management system for educational organizations and institutional accreditation. Its objective was to develop a comprehensive methodology that allows the articulation of the criteria of the quality model for institutional accreditation with the requirements of the ISO 21001 standard, according to the context of private universities in Metropolitan Lima. The study uses a qualitative approach and a non-experimental design. Document analysis and interviews with senior university management were carried out, using a document analysis guide and an interview guide as instruments. According to the results, after the analysis of the national and international institutional accreditation quality models (SINEACE, IAC-CINDA, WSCUC and NECHE), 9 dimensions and 20 criteria of the quality model for institutional accreditation were determined, relevant to the context of private universities in Metropolitan Lima, which were validated by experts in educational quality, and were articulated with the requirements of the ISO 21001 standard. Subsequently, an interview guide was designed that was applied to the senior management of a private university in Metropolitan Lima and its effectiveness in covering both systems was validated. The goal is for private universities in Metropolitan Lima to improve their educational quality management and the services they provide to students.
