Estilos y competencias de liderazgo relacionados a la Eficacia Escolar de los directivos de una institución educativa privada en Lurigancho

Abstract
El objetivo general de la presente investigación fue analizar la percepción de los
directivos sobre su estilo y competencias de liderazgo, relacionadas a la eficacia
escolar en una institución educativa privada en Lurigancho Chosica, siendo los
objetivos específicos en primer lugar describir las percepciones de los directivos
sobre su estilo de liderazgo en la Institución, para luego identificar desde las
percepciones de los directivos, las competencias de liderazgo relacionadas a la
eficacia escolar que ponen en práctica. El paradigma bajo el que se desarrolló la
investigación es el interpretativo, con un enfoque metodológico cualitativo y una
metodología de corte fenomenológico, ya que se buscó construir el fenómeno
estudiado desde las perspectivas de los entrevistados. Es así como se realizaron
cinco entrevistas a los directivos de la institución investigada, de ambos sexos, con
un rango de edad mayor o igual a 40 años, con un tiempo de servicio igual o mayor
a 10 años dentro de la institución y una permanencia en el cargo actual en un
periodo no menor a 5 años. Como resultado se obtuvo que los estilos de liderazgo
asociados a la eficacia escolar predominantes en los directivos son el liderazgo
transformacional y el liderazgo pedagógico y los estilos de liderazgo asociados a
la eficacia escolar no predominantes son los estilos de liderazgo democrático y
distribuido. También se identificaron 95 competencias asociadas a los líderes
eficaces en los directivos de la institución.
The general objective of the present research was to analyze the perception of the managers about their leadership style and competencies, related to school effectiveness in a private educational institution in Lurigancho Chosica, being the specific objectives first to describe the perceptions of the managers about their leadership style in the Institution, and then to identify from the perceptions of the managers, the leadership competencies related to school effectiveness that they put into practice. The paradigm under which the following production was developed is interpretative, with a qualitative methodological approach and a phenomenological methodology, since the aim was to construct the phenomenon studied from the perspectives of the interviewees. Thus, five interviews were conducted with the managers of the institution under investigation, of both sexes, with an age range greater than or equal to 40 years, with a service time equal to or greater than 10 years within the institution and a permanence in the current position for a period of not less than 5 years. As a result, the predominant leadership styles associated with school effectiveness were transformational leadership and pedagogical leadership, and the leadership styles associated with school effectiveness were democratic and distributed leadership styles. Also, 95 competencies associated with effective leaders were identified in the institution's managers.
