Abstract
La corrupción es uno de los problemas con mayores efectos negativos en el desarrollo
socioeconómico de un país y en el bienestar subjetivo de los ciudadanos. El caso Los Cuellos
Blancos del Puerto, un reciente escándalo de corrupción en el Perú, surgió a partir de la
difusión de audios que revelaban actos deshonestos en funcionarios del Poder Judicial.
Tomando como base el acceso a los documentos, el objetivo de la presente investigación fue
examinar las características del comportamiento corrupto en los audios difundidos sobre el
caso. Se analizaron 50 audios y se obtuvieron 7 categorías de comportamiento corrupto:
Favores para familiares y amigos; trato familiar y cálido; gratitud; discreción y
confidencialidad; reciprocidad; círculo de confianza, y soborno. Estas sugieren patrones
fundamentales en la evolución de pequeños grupos familiares y de cooperantes, que
colisionan con el desarrollo de una sociedad moderna.
Corruption is one of the problems with the greatest negative effects on the socioeconomic development of a country and the subjective wellbeing of its citizens. The case Los Cuellos Blancos del Puerto, a recent corruption scandal in Peru, arose from the dissemination of audios that revealed dishonest acts by Judicial Power officials. Based on the access to the documents, the objective of this research was to examine the characteristics of corrupt behavior in the audios of the case. Fifty audios were analyzed and 7 categories of corrupt behavior were obtained: Favors for family and friends; familiar and warm treatment; gratitude; discretion and confidentiality; reciprocity; circle of trust, and bribery. These categories suggest fundamental patterns in the evolution of family and cooperators small groups, which collide with the development of a modern society.
