Abstract
proyectada a 2020.
The Strategic Plan Assigned focuses on the Colombian retail sector, whose study began with the analysis of the current situation of the sector in Colombia, identifying the main characters, its behavior and the trends of the sector in the country. Next, an analysis of the sector on a global scale, and with its knowledge to define the mission and the vision for the sector, in accordance with what we expect to see projected in 2020. In the development of the study we are integrating the competitive analysis of the sector in the country, highlighting the most important related sectors, as well as the influences that converge and influence the sector generating opportunities for improvements and/or threats that must be monitored. Further studying with the development of the valuable methodology of confirmation of arrays taught by Professor D'Alessio, which help us to determine the internal and external factors that influences the sector to result in the DOFA matrix, that outlines the most important Strengths, Weaknesses, Threats and Opportunities of the sector, which combined with the other arrays that complements our study; it help us determine the strategies that are developed with the help of the objectives of long and short terms. The study concludes with the development of the integrated control panel to achieve quantitative measurements which are achievable and that can fulfill the strategies proposed in the given period of time, which for the purposes of this study is by the year 2020. Finally the Strategic Integral Plan describes in a complete manner the synthesis of all the work done, and where the conclusions and recommendations are extracted and defined relevantly to achieve the future you want for the retail sector in Colombia (2020), looking to increase its involvement which is very low, 40%, compared to other countries.
