Abstract
La presente investigación buscó identificar y analizar las creencias, actitudes entorno a la infancia y el trabajo infantil teniendo como base los valores individuales en las madres en un contexto de vulnerabilidad. Para ello, se construyó una entrevista semi-estructurada, encontrándose en el estudio cualitativo que las participantes (N=12): (i) vinculan la infancia con características y actividades relacionadas principalmente con la recreación y la educación;(ii)evalúan al trabajo infantil de forma negativa y ambivalente, influencia da por las experiencias personales negativas como niñas trabajadoras y por el contexto inseguro en el que viven; (iii)poseen como base de las creencias y actitudes en torno a la infancia y trabajo infantil, valores como el trabajo, el progreso, la responsabilidad, la filiación, el apoyo social y el respeto.
The present research looks forward to identify and analyzes the beliefs and attitudes towards the infancy and child labor, based on individual values of mothers within a context of vulnerability. For this reason, it was built a semi-structured interview. In this qualitative study, the results indicates that the participants (N=12): (i)link the infancy with characteristics and activities mainly related to recreation and education; (ii) evaluate the child labor in a negative and ambivalent way, influenced by their personal and negative experiences as a child workers, and by the insecure context where they live; (iii) have as a basis of their beliefs and attitudes towards the infancy and child labor, values such as work, progress, responsibility, filiation, social support and respect.
