This professional report documents the process of analysis, design, and commissioning of a high-availability network infrastructure for a maritime terminal at the Muelle Sur in Callao. The work describes the transition from an existing network, with a two-layer model and redundancy vulnerabilities, to a modernized and robust architecture. The analysis phase is detailed, where critical points of failure were identified and the need for a network with high availability, security, and scalability was diagnosed. The proposed design was based on a three-layer model and incorporated advanced technologies such as Virtual PortChannel (vPC) to guarantee 24/7 operation without interruptions. The implementation phase demonstrated the ability to manage a large-scale project, solve unexpected technical problems, and align technological solutions with the company's strategic objectives. The report's conclusions validate the engineer's professional competence, highlighting experience in project management, leadership, and the development of sustainable solutions, which are key elements for the practice of engineering in a critical and competitive environment.
