Abstract
La presente investigación tiene como propósito identificar el nivel de conocimiento
acerca de la tartamudez que tienen los pediatras de los hospitales del MINSA.
La muestra estuvo conformada por 35 pediatras que laboran en hospitales del
Ministerio de Salud (MINSA), tales como: Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño
(INSN), Hospital Nacional Docente Madre Niño San Bartolomé, Hospital Nacional
Dos de mayo.
La investigación fue tipo descriptiva de corte transversal con un diseño no
experimental, siendo la variable de estudio el nivel de conocimiento que tienen
acerca de la tartamudez los profesionales de la salud que participaron en el estudio.
Para la medición de estas variables se aplicó un cuestionario a los pediatras, el cual
fue elaborado, validado y aprobado a través del juicio de expertos. Los datos
obtenidos del instrumento aplicado fueron procesados estadísticamente mediante el
IBM SPSS versión 23.
Los resultados de la investigación muestran que el nivel predominante de
conocimiento acerca de la tartamudez que tienen los médicos pediatras,
corresponde al nivel medio (48,6%).
The purpose of this research is to identify the level of knowledge about stuttering that pediatricians at MINSA hospitals have. The sample consisted of 35 pediatricians who work in hospitals of the Ministry of Health (MINSA), such as: National Institute of Child Health (INSN), National Teaching Hospital Madre Niño San Bartolomé, Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo. The research was descriptive, cross-sectional with a non-experimental design, the study variable being the level of knowledge that the health professionals who participated in the study have about stuttering. To measure these variables, a questionnaire was applied to the pediatricians, which was prepared, validated and approved through expert judgment. The data obtained from the applied instrument were statistically processed using IBM SPSS version 23. The research results show that the predominant level of knowledge about stuttering that pediatric physicians have corresponds to the medium level (48.6%).
