Abstract
Callao.
The objective of this thesis is to develop a technical proposal that allows new frequencies to be channeled for the FM radio service in the channeling plans (hereinafter, channeling) of the secondary service locations of Lima and Callao; since there is little or no availability of frequencies in the aforementioned locations, which means that illegal broadcasters who operate an FM radio station and wish to formalize themselves by requesting the assignment or authorization of a frequency before the “Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC)”, this is declared inadmissible because in said locations there are no available frequencies. For this, an analysis of the technical standard of the FM radio service approved in our country will be carried out, comparing it with the regulations of neighboring countries, and also taking into account the recommendations of the "International Telecommunications Union (ITU)", with the in order to propose new technical parameters that allow reducing the separation of channels in the FM band, and reduce the separation of frequency assignment between primary and secondary service stations, thus allowing better use of the radio spectrum, and thereby obtain new frequencies that can be channeled for the FM radio service of the secondary service locations of Lima and Callao.
