Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar 1as
características del componente sintáctico que presentan los pacientes afásicos no
fluentes de un Centro Hospitalario del Callao. Las alteraciones de dicho
componente son: producción verbal no fluente, frases incompletas y reducidas,
alteraciones en la prosodia y dificultades en la articulación.
El tipo de investigación elegido para el trabajo es el cualitativo, y dentro
de estos se ha seleccionado el estudio de casos, en la variante diseño de casos
múltiples.
La muestra fue elegida intencionalmente y estuvo conformada por 6
pacientes adultos con afasia no fluente usuarios ambulatorios de un Centro
Hospitalario, que cumplen con criterios de inclusión y exclusión.
El instrumento utilizado para la recolección de los datos fue el Test de
Boston Adaptado a la población afásica del INR por la Doctora Julia Rado (2006), la versión original es de Goodglass y Kaplan (1972); y la adaptación
española de García Albea, Sánchez Bemardos y del Viso (1986).
El análisis cualitativo de los datos obtenidos permitió conocer que los
pacientes afásicos no fluentes presentan alteración en el componente sintáctico,
así como también se observó que tuvieron mayor dificultad al estructurar frases u
oraciones en el habla espontánea a nivel de preguntas y en la descripción de la
Imagen.
The princíple objective of the investigation was to determine the characteristics of the syntactic component that are presented by the aphasic patients who are not fiuent users of Callao's Hospital Center. The aIterations of this component are: verbal not fiuently production, incomplete and reduced phrases, aItered prosody and articulation difficuIty. The kind of research chosen for the work is qualitative, and case studies were selected in muItiple case design variants. The sample was intentionalIy chosen and was comprised of 6 adults with influent aphasia, who were outpatients at the Health Ministry's Institute for Rehabilitation and who met the inc1usion and exclusion criteria. The instrument that was utilized to collect the information was the Boston Test, adapted for the aphasic population ofthe INR by Dr. Julia Rado (2006). The original test was created by Goodglass and Kaplan (1972) and was adapted for Spanish by García Albea, Sánchez Bemardos, and del Viso (1986). The qualitative analysis of the obtained information led to know that the influent aphasic patients presented alteration in the syntactic component; also they had great difficulty structuring phrases or sentences when responded to questions and described a given image without prior preparation.
