Abstract
A partir
Teaching within regular basic education institutions is one of the job possibilities that is presented to graduates of the Music degree from various universities in Lima. However, not everyone is prepared to assume some of the responsibilities and proposals that this job profile demands. As graduates of the Music degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, we assumed the teaching of music in a regular basic education center where a musical ensemble was formed made up of students of different ages and families of instruments. This led us to search for strategies that would allow us to achieve the pedagogical and musical goals set for the ensemble. Based on the achievements obtained, it was pertinent for us to share the experience, so the objective of this research is to describe the strategies for the formation of a musical ensemble in a regular basic education institution in Lima. This work had a qualitative approach and methods such as bibliographic review, observation and data collection through a log were used. The results collected in the log showed the effectiveness of strategies such as adapting the repertoire to the musical and interpretative level of the members, organizing tutti and sectional rehearsals with a structure that responds to the objectives of the ensemble, encouraging the study of musical theory, training the technical skills and active listening, and above all establish the rules of coexistence and the appreciation of the work of all members.
